Depression/Anxiety of Parents of Kids with Cancer

Receiving a diagnosis of cancer in a child contributes to the incidence of depression and anxiety disorders. A major finding is that anxiety and depression levels are strongly associated with the child’s age and performance. The younger the child, and the lower the levels of performance, the greater the severity of depressive disorders.
