Growth Hormone Deficiency

Childhood cancer survivors may develop growth problems from certain treatments. The most obvious sign of deficiency in children is the slowing of growth or height. Adults experience bone thinning, decreased muscle strength, increased body fat, high blood cholesterol, and more. Survivors need to know their risks and monitor their health!
