A review of the World Health Organization’s International Clinical Trials Registry Platform identified 5645 interventional pediatric oncology trials, with 81.2% of trials located in high-income countries.

Origin cells for common malignant brain tumor in young adults uncovered.

Pediatric orbital MALT lymphoma masquerading as a pyogenic granuloma.

Recent developments in the treatment of pediatric kidney tumors, particularly relapsed rhabdoid tumors and Wilms tumor, have highlighted significant progress in childhood oncology.

National Institutes of Health All of Us Research Program’s open session of the All of Us Advisory Panel meeting at noon ET on January 14. This free public session will include a presentation by Josh Denny, M.D., M.S., chief executive officer of the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program on the program’s recent achievements and upcoming efforts.

NCI will host a free public webinar at 1:00 ET on January 16: AI-Driven Multimodal Data Integration & Analysis to Improve Pediatric Cancer Diagnosis.  Click here for information and to register.

On a recent episode of The Cancer Letter Podcast, Nancy Goodman, founder and executive director of Kids v. Cancer, joins Jacquelyn Cobb, associate editor with The Cancer Letter, and Claire Marie Porter, reporter to explain the legislative story of the Mikaela Naylon Give Kids a Chance Act.

The ASCO-Sponsored Patient Advocacy Booth provides an opportunity for not-for-profit patient advocacy organizations to promote their programs, services, and resources to the professional oncology community. The booth provides a venue where participants can display materials and where meeting attendees and patient advocates can meet, interact, and exchange information. Learn more.

The Conquer Cancer® Patient Advocate Award Program provides a limited number of awards for patient advocates to attend the ASCO Annual Meeting to learn of important advances in their areas of interest. Awards help cover travel, hotel, and registration expenses and are based primarily on financial need, advocacy experience, and current advocacy activities and involvement. The application period opens Monday, March 9 at 10:00 AM (ET) and closes Monday, March 16 at 5:00 PM (ET).
